学业成功中心 - Grand Island
The 学业成功中心 (ASC) provides many services for students. 其中包括校内辅导, 在线辅导, computer lab and computer assistance, and the academic skill builder workshop.
辅导 is a free service to our students. Our tutors have knowledge in specific subjects and will act as a learning resource for you. They will help you review and study what you've learned in class.
We are also seeking students who want to become tutors. If you have an above average grade in a specific course and want to help others learn, 那你就有资格了. Our tutors are paid and set their own hours.

学术技能培养者工作坊 offer a way for students to sharpen their skills in math, 写作, 或阅读. Workshop participants work independently from a textbook, with assistance from a tutor. Workshops are held in the 学业成功中心 (Room 453) at the Grand Island Main Campus Building. A $20 fee is required to register for the Workshop. Registration forms are available in the 学业成功中心. Contact the 学业成功中心 at 308-398-7481 for further information.
The 学业成功中心 also functions as a computer lab with computers available for student use. The 学业成功中心 staff is available to offer assistance with WebCentral, Canvas, 学生的电子邮件, printing and other general computer use questions.
什么是写作中心?
写作中心提供免费服务, one-on-one assistance to 中央社区学院 students as they strive to improve their 写作 skills. We provide CCC student writers with a welcoming, 邀请, collaborative and supportive atmosphere in which they can develop their skills and make informed decisions about their 写作. We promote 写作 excellence and success of students in both their academic and future careers. The 写作 center also offers free, one-on-one collaboration to 中央社区学院 faculty and staff as they create assignments for their courses, 为出版而写, 更新他们的简历和履历, 等.

The 写作中心 in Grand Island is located in Room 451. 学生 are encouraged to schedule appointments ahead of time. We welcome drop-ins as well, although a 写作 coach may not be immediately available. Please contact the academic success center at 308-398-7481 to schedule an appointment with a 写作 coach.
Supplemental instruction is offered in courses that are historically difficult for students. A former student who excelled in the class facilitates group study sessions where students work together to practice the material through activities. These sessions are held weekly at a time that accommodates student’s schedules. 补充说明 is a free service and participation is voluntary.
